Admiral Nano is a homeless fictional character in Aurora IL.  Nano is not of Earth, so his perspective of homelessness and the values of humanity that he is here to observe are mostly unbiased.  The events in his blog (journal) are based on real experiences with some added literary creativity.  Admiral Nano’s Journal is meant to illuminate the dark reality of being homeless that most ‘normal’ people are trying hard to ignore.  Therefore, it is necessary to truthfully portray the reality of being homeless and not pretend things are other than they are. Real names are not being used.
